Communal House
Residential Interior Design - Working Drawings
Post-Graduate Work
The project consisted of concept design and spatial layout solutions of the existing house to integrate six bedrooms with four communal bathrooms and other communal areas like a kitchen, a scullery/washroom, a dining area and a TV/relaxation area.
The development will serve as rental spaces/rooms for mining workers in Mokopane after local municipality approval and construction.

Hotel- Suite
5 Star Hotel Room Suite Design - Working Drawings
Undergraduate Work
The set of working drawings in this section of the portfolio relates to the design and spatial layout of a business suite for a five-star hotel room and the creation of mock-ups to develop the luxury suite.
Spatial requirements and design requests for the design featured the inclusion of an entrance lobby, a lounge/dining room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, a dressing area and a bathroom. Other requirements included the use of commercial-grade luxury materials, fittings and furniture

Brewpub & Restaurant
Treehouse Brewpub Restaurant Design - Working Drawings
Undergraduate Work
The set of working drawings in this section of the portfolio relates to the design and spatial layout of a brewpub. The brewpub includes areas where beer is made, fermented, stored and served to customers. The brewpub also includes a small commercial kitchen for a restaurant forming part of a bar.
Requirements of the brewpub included that some of the beer brewing processes had to be visible to the public and be designed in a way that portrays the "brand" of the brewpub. Another requirement included creating a space where customers could wind down with friends and feel relaxed in a convivial environment.

Pool House
Pool House and Upstairs Apartment - Working Drawings
Undergraduate Work
The set of working drawings in this section of the portfolio relates to the design and spatial layout of a small poolhouse with a second-floor apartment above the first floor. The pool house will be newly built close to the pool due to the distance between the main house and the pool being a struggle for the owners. Requirements to incorporate into the space included the creation of a bar/braai and TV area inside the pool house as well as two bathrooms with showers.

The second-floor apartment required a small kitchenette, study area, sleeping area, TV area for relaxation, and bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet.
